FESPA 2017: main event in the printing world
FESPA 2017 - the largest exhibition of digital, textile and screen printing was held on 8-12 May in Hamburg. IQDEMY equipment and technologies were showcased there.
FESPA is one of the biggest and most important all-encompassing event covering screen and digital wide format, textile printing and signage. Leading brands, top managers, entrepreneurs from all over the world visit this event. This year more than 20 456 visitors from 139 countries attended FESPA.
FESPA has always been highly expected as it is a key platform to showcase innovations. Mimaki presented the first in the world machine for full-color 3D printing, Zünd – digital laser module for polyester textile cutting, and Agfa – new hybrid UV LED printer Jeti Tauro H2500. Massivit 3D booth was decorated with 3D figures printed on their own Massivit 1800 that can create 1.8 meters high models.
Canon exhibited a very interesting innovative product Océ Colorado 1640 new generation wide format roll-to-roll printer. It represents a new UVgel inks technology. According to the manufacturer this technology allows to reduce inks consumption by 40% compared to eco-solvent and latex printing.
FESPA 2017 proved to be extremely productive for IQDEMY, important connections were established and existing relationship with representatives of European market were strengthened. The possibility to develop customized printing solution was also showcased.
